H.C. is a humanitarian and development organization committed to improving the living conditions of vulnerable communities and promoting sustainable human development.
Founded through the initiative of resource persons from diverse backgrounds in Togo, our organization was created after observing the difficult living conditions faced by rural populations, underprivileged urban communities, children, women, young people, orphans, elderly persons, and other vulnerable groups.
During the Ordinary General Assembly held on January 7, 2013, we came together with a shared conviction: lasting development is possible when communities are supported, empowered, educated, and given access to essential opportunities.
To contribute, both nationally and internationally, to the well-being of grassroots populations through sustainable human development.
Our mission was born from the realities experienced by many grassroots communities, including poverty, limited access to healthcare, malnutrition, lack of clean drinking water, school dropouts, unemployment, environmental degradation, juvenile delinquency, child oppression, and social exclusion.
We believe that every human being deserves dignity, protection, education, healthcare, and the opportunity to build a better future.
Reduce poverty among grassroots populations and support vulnerable families.
Promote education, girls’ education, vocational training, and youth development.
Improve access to primary healthcare, reproductive health, hygiene, and sanitation.
Support private initiatives, entrepreneurship, employment, and women-led activities.
Assist orphans, street children, and children affected by oppression, trafficking, or violence.
Protect the environment, fight deforestation, and promote agriculture and livestock farming.
H.C. works to fight against STIs, HIV/AIDS and related opportunistic diseases; promote human rights and social justice; support disaster-affected populations; encourage agriculture, livestock farming, culture, tourism, sports and leisure; and contribute to the social reintegration of marginalized people.
We also support the commercialization of agricultural, livestock and artisanal products, organize national and international volunteer work camps, and promote community-based development projects.
Through development projects, community support, training, advocacy, and humanitarian action, H.C. continues to work for a future where every person has the chance to live with dignity and hope.
Acts of support, no matter how small, have the power to ease burdens, uplift spirits, and inspire others to do the same. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, donating to a cause.
